Why Calm Coffee Co. was born
This is the real reason we exist.
Yes, I love coffee. And yes, Brazil is close to my heart because of my partner. But that isn't why I started Calm Coffee Co.
I've spent ten years in corporate finance. Month-end closes, audits, late nights. I burned out, and by the time I realised what was happening, it was already too late to just push through.
Mental health and wellness at work is still overlooked. So many people keep going until they can't, and burnout usually only gets talked about once it has already happened.
What helped me was small: a few minutes with my coffee and nothing else. No phone, no inbox. That pause became a ritual, and the ritual became this company.
Calm Coffee Co. for Teams is how I want to give that back, helping teams look after themselves so they can be at their best, before it's too late.
